While capybaras are not native to Palestine, they are sort of seen as an Internet famous animal known for getting along with many other species and loving watermelons. The watermelon has been used to symbolize Palestine because of the colors of their flag and all the internet censorship that has been going around esp. Gaza related social media posts.
